the story

where it all began

It was the beginning of spring in 2003 when I was born in a small hospital in Goes, the Netherlands — the start of a life filled with curiosity and imagination.

By age 7, I was glued to the thickest of CRT screens, exploring worlds in Warcraft and Kabouterdart — my first steps into digital worlds.

Not long after, a close friend and I discovered Minecraft, where all creativity could flow freely. We spent hours playing, building, and experimenting.

As I grew older, the thrill of challenge took me for a ride. Games like League of Legends and Dead by Daylight introduced me to competition and teamwork. Although they were not always positive experiences...

But it was horror that really captured my imagination. I dove into strange and haunting worlds on Itch.io, fascinated by how fear could become art.

After high school, I began studying ICT in Middelburg. Coding gave me the power to *create* worlds rather than just play in them.

In my second year, I discovered Unity and C# — and everything changed. I started making my own games, breathing life into my ideas.

A Game Dev minor and internship at Capitola solidified my path. I realized this might just be more then a simple hobby.

In 2024, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in ICT — a foundation built from years of doing, learning, and reflecting.

And most recently, I began my new chapter at Howest in Belgium, studying Independent Game Development — ready to turn everything I’d learned into worlds of my own.

But the story doesn't end here. Let's write that next chapter together...
